Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and storage key this website uses. There are five, none of them are for advertising, and blocking all of them still leaves the site fully usable.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Two related technologies, local storage and session storage, do a similar job inside your browser. Together they let a site remember things between clicks: what you chose, whether you have been here before, and how the site is performing.

They are usually grouped as:

• Essential cookies are needed for the site to work;
• Performance cookies help us see how the site is used;
• Functionality cookies remember your choices;
• Advertising cookies target ads. We do not use any.

2. What this site actually uses

The admin area of this site sets a login cookie, but only for us. It is never set for a visitor.

Our own visit statistics (described in section 1 of the Privacy Policy) use no cookie and no browser storage at all. Nothing is written to your device for them, so blocking cookies does not switch them off and clearing your browser changes nothing about them.

3. What we do not use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no advertising pixels.
• No cross-site tracking and no selling of any data these cookies produce.
• Nothing that identifies you by name. Analytics tells us "142 people opened the pricing section", not who they were.

4. Your choices

You do not have to accept any of it. Every browser can block or delete cookies and site storage, and analytics is blocked entirely by any ad blocker or by the "Do Not Track" setting. Blocking these will not stop you using the site, downloading the app, or reaching us.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

• block all cookies, or only third-party ones;
• delete the cookies already stored;
• set different rules for individual websites;
• opt out of analytics, including with Google's own opt-out add-on.

6. The app

The Lumo TV app is not a web browser and sets no cookies. It stores your settings and your MAC address on the device itself. What it sends to us is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when what we use changes. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date at the top.
