This guide covers every Amazon Fire TV device: the Fire TV Stick, Stick 4K and 4K Max, the Fire TV Cube, and televisions with Fire TV built in, such as Amazon Omni and 4-Series, Insignia, Toshiba and Hisense. They all run the same software, so the steps are identical. Amazon does not list Lumo TV in its own app store, so it is installed with Downloader by AFTVnews instead. This is completely normal on Fire TV, takes about five minutes, and changes nothing else on the device.
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search and type Downloader. Install Downloader by AFTVnews, the one with the orange icon. Other apps with similar names are not the same app, and the Lumo TV code is made for this one. It is free and comes from Amazon's own store.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options, then turn on Install unknown apps and enable it for Downloader.
If you cannot see Developer options, open Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight the name of your device, and press the OK button seven times. A message appears saying you are now a developer, and the menu will be there.
On a television with Fire TV built in, the same menu is under Settings → Device & Software instead of My Fire TV.
Open Downloader, select the URL box, type the code 3690365 and press Go. Downloader looks the code up and the download starts straight away. There is no page to navigate and nothing to click.
If the code is not accepted, type the full address joykindly.com/app.apk instead. It downloads exactly the same app. Downloader has no autocorrect, so a missing character gives a "page not found" rather than a useful error.
When the download finishes, Fire TV asks whether to install. Choose Install, and when it completes choose Done, then Delete to remove the installer file and free up space.
Launch Lumo TV from your apps. It opens on an activation screen showing a MAC address that looks like 02:1A:79:xx:xx:xx. Leave it on screen.
Message that MAC address to us on WhatsApp and tell us you would like the free trial. We switch your device on, usually within a few minutes, and send you a Profile Name.
Type the Profile Name we send you into the box under your MAC address, then press Activate. The channel list loads and you are watching.
Start with a free trial: 24 hours on Ruby server, 48 hours on VIP server. On Ruby server we send you a username and password; on VIP server you send us the MAC address the app shows. No card, nothing to cancel.
Messages started here include a short code for the page you came from (e.g. LT-GUIDES). It is not unique to you and you can delete it before sending.
