Installing Lumo TV on an Android phone or tablet

Lumo TV works on any Android phone or tablet running Android 7.0 or newer, which is useful for watching away from home. The app is designed for a television remote, so on a phone it is best held sideways.

Each device is activated separately, and one subscription streams to one device at a time. If you want the TV and a phone running at once, ask us about a second line.
iPhone and iPad are not supported. Lumo TV is an Android application, and Apple does not permit apps to be installed from outside its own store.

Step by step

  1. Open joykindly.com in your browser

    Use Chrome or any browser on the phone itself, and press Download the app. The file is around 100 MB, so Wi-Fi is worth using.

  2. Allow the install once

    Android asks whether to allow installs from your browser. Tap Settings, turn the permission on, then go back and tap Install. Android only asks this the first time.

  3. Open Lumo TV and get your MAC address

    Open the app. It shows a MAC address on the activation screen.

  4. Send us the MAC address

    Message it to us on WhatsApp and ask for the free trial. We activate the device and reply with a Profile Name.

  5. Enter the Profile Name and press Activate

    Enter it under your MAC address and press Activate.
